The room at Casa do Ameal was absolutely charming! It made me feel like I was stepping back in time to the 16th century. I loved the cozy decor and the comfortable bed. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I found the arcade/game room a bit outdated. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

We had a memorable stay at this luxurious hotel! The staff, especially Teresa, were welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. The accommodation was excellent, with comfortable rooms that had all the amenities we could ask for including heating, a mini-bar, and a sitting area. We also enjoyed the lovely garden with its swimming pool, perfect for a relaxing afternoon of reading in the sun. The breakfast served in the beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the pool was a delightful way to start our day. this place offers enhanced comfort and quality services, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding sights on day trips.
That in the evenings we had to either walk or drive to a restaurant or cater for ourselves. However, this minor inconvenience is easily overlooked when considering all the wonderful aspects of this hotel.

I recently stayed at Casa Do Ameal Bed & Breakfast in Viana do Castelo for a business trip, and I must say, it was a great choice made by my director. The hotel offers a lovely swimming pool where I could relax after a long day of work. the free parking facilities were a huge convenience, as I didn't have to worry about finding a safe spot for my car. These amenities really added value to my stay, spanning over 40 words.
One minor issue I encountered was that the hotel was slightly difficult to find, as the signage was not very clear.

the hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided great service. the estate itself is a beautifully restored mansion with a charming atmosphere. I loved the small apartments nestled in the lush garden. the breakfast in the old stylish room was divine, and the pool and table tennis provided great entertainment. Special thanks to our landlady Isabel for her warm hospitality and helpful advice on things to see in the area. I highly recommend this exclusive and atmospheric stay. Cons: Could not be improved in any way! 😄.

Liked the charming and traditional feel of the accommodation, with beautiful gardens to relax in and a delicious breakfast served in a stylish room. Conveniently located near a supermarket for easy food shopping, and with spacious rooms that were cleaned daily. The swimming pool was a great size and often empty for added privacy.
Disliked the distance from the city center, making it a longer walk to reach restaurants and attractions. Limited pavement in some areas made it more difficult to walk with small children.
